Contractor Logistics: Planning Engineer (2Years)

Our client in the motor industry is hiring for a Contractor Logistics – Planning Engineer. The role is within the New Model Projects (NMP) and Master Data area, specifically working on the Service Parts Prep Project. The position is based at the New Parts Distribution Centre located on Atlas Road.

This role reports to the NMP & Master Data Senior Manager/Manager and will focus primarily on NMP Service Parts Prep Activities.

Experience and Qualifications

  • NQF level 6 (360 credits on level 8 framework) – Industrial / Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain Management or related
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Logistics, Warehousing, Manufacturing
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage.
  • Applicants will be required to demonstrate competence and skills to execute specific key accountabilities as outlined above, with particular emphasis on the development of SOP’s, Testing of Processes, Planning and execution of New Model and/or Continuous Improvement projects.
