We are hiring a Forklift Technician! The primary responsibility of this role is to install, maintain, and repair forklifts and other material handling equipment. Below is the detailed job description:

Experience and Qualification

2+ years of experience as a forklift technician or in a related field.
2. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
3. Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
4. Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards.
5. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Physical stamina to lift, bend, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications/Training:
1. Manufacturer-specific training (e.g., Toyota, Mitsubishi, Maximal etc)
2. OSHA certification
3. Forklift operator certification
4. Electrical or mechanical trade certification (e.g., journeyman electrician)
Working Conditions:
1. Warehouse or shop environment
2. Exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures

KPIs

Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on forklifts and other equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulations.
Install and configure new equipment, including programming and testing.
Provide technical support and training to operators and other personnel.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Collaborate with other departments to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
Stay up-to-date with manufacturer updates, technical bulletins, and industry developments.
